United Delivery Service, Ltd. Drivers

To ensure that UDS drivers understand the importance of their roles in serving our customers, they must attend several hours of classroom training. Topics such as Security Needs, Defensive Driving, Service Standards, Equipment Use, and Paperwork Procedures are discussed in depth. They are also required to participate in comprehensive field training which is taught by our most experienced drivers. By the time new drivers are assigned to their own routes, they will understand the strict UDS guidelines to be followed in each and every delivery.

UDS drivers must undergo complete background checks, require MVR reports, and are subject to specific and random drug and alcohol testing.

UDS drivers are required to wear uniforms and carry smart card ID badges that contain driver fingerprints, bar code identification and magnetic strip capabilities.

At UDS, we believe that the better the training, the better the delivery experience for our customers.
